Fully restored farmhouse on the androscoggin river

4 Season getaway suitable for up to 10 people

about the river house

The River House is a 100 year old farmhouse situated on two acres of land beside the Androscoggin River, just outside the village of Errol, NH. Fantastic for fishing and paddling all summer and a perfect place for everyone to get together to enjoy ATV trails and snowmobiling all winter. We've completely restored the house over the past year including:

  • All new flooring
  • New bathrooms
  • New kitchen
  • New dishwasher, stove and fridge
  • All new beds, mattresses and bedding
  • All new furniture and refurbished antiques
  • All new wiring, smoke and CO2 detectors
  • Fresh new walls and paint
  • Upgraded heating, hot water and plumbing
  • A fire pit and BBQ
  • A double garage to store your gear or sleds in winter

Both ATV and Snowmobile trails can be accessed directly from the property. No need to trailer up and drive to the trails! You can drive right into the garage after a day's riding. The house is a 5 minute walk to the village of Errol and restaurants, hardware and outdoor store, liquor outlet and more!  From The River House, you have direct access to hundreds of miles of snowmobiling and ATV trails, right from your doorstep! It's a 50 yard walk to great fishing pools above and below the rapid on the Androcoggin River and you can enjoy paddling, rafting and swimming all summer long right beside the house. We're a 10 minute drive to The Balsams resort and a short 30 mile drive to The “Trophy Stretch” of the Upper Connecticut River in Pittsburg, NH which is two and one half miles of pocket water, riffles and pools, providing some of northern New England's best trout and salmon fishing
